Horgan: Early season injuries will give a chance to fringe players

Finn Harps play Wexford Youths in the League of Ireland First Division on Friday night and while it's still very early in the season, injuries to key players are a cause for concern at Finn Park.

Ahead of the game, the club hosted a press conference in Letterkenny on Tuesday night at which manager Ollie Horgan confirmed that both Gareth Harkin and Paddy McCourt are ruled out on Friday night while there are injury concerns surrounding BJ Banda and Aidan Friel.

Harps have a busy schedule of games coming up with Drogheda United away on Monday night and then two more games the following week.

Horgan said it's not ideal, even at such an early stage in the campaign.

He was speaking to the Democrat's Diarmaid Doherty.
