Onóir
Onóir have done it again - a fourth gig by the south Donegal band has sold out.
After selling out three shows at the Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey, tickets for their May 26 date in Letterkenny went on sale on Thursday evening.
Onóir are set play at An Grianan Theatre - and tickets were snapped up in just over an hour.
"The interest in them is just phenomenal," Daithi Ramsay, the marketing manager of An Grianan Theatre told Donegal Live.
Tom McHugh from Inver, Frosses native Declan Gaughan, Mountcharles’ Dean James and Diarmaid McGee from Ballintra form the quartet that has tongues wagging.
The four musicians have never played together in public before, but demand far outweighs supply as they take to the stage.
During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, the four men joined together and made a video at Murvagh beach, recording a version of The Auld Triangle. The video went viral and has 1.6 million views.
Tickets for the first show announced were gone within four hours. Their second show sold out in 34 minutes and it took only eight minutes for the full house signs to be posted for a third time.
