Aaron Doherty of Donegal in action against Diarmuid Baker of Derry during the Ulster GAA Football Senior Championship quarter-final in April
Donegal will welcome Derry in the preliminary round of the 2025 Ulster SFC.
Jim McGuinness's side are the current holders of the Anglo-Celt Cup having overcame the Oak Leafers in the provincial quarter-final this year, 4-11 to 0-17, before defeating Armagh to win the competition.
Derry were Ulster champions in both 2022 and 2023 and are currently without a manager having parted company with Mickey Harte having failed to get past the All-Ireland quarter-finals.
