RTÉ 2FM announces major shake-up to daytime radio hosts from next week
RTÉ 2FM has announced the new line-up of weekly daytime programming which is set to go live on Monday morning, 24 February.
Carl Mullan, Roz Purcell and Aisling Bonner will be taking over the breakfast slot with '2FM Breakfast with Carl, Roz & Aisling.' The morning show will be on from 6am to 9am wherein the three new hosts will start off the day with comedy sketches, plenty of giveaways and some laughs.
Then, Laura Fox will takeover from 9am to 12pm for some chats and games for the listeners such as the voice bending daily €5k challenge, Autotune Fortune and What the Fox? Tracy Clifford will ring in the lunch hours with some new tunes and big hits from midday until 3pm.

To finish off the day, Doireann Garrihy will return to the air for 2FM Drive with Doireann Garrihy from 3pm-6pm. Listeners can expect some more hit music, entertainment updates as well as some of fun. Garrihy will be on the Late Late Show this Friday night to discuss her return to radio.
The weekend line-up has also been rejigged with four new presenters - Benny Bracken, Helen Galgey, Mikey O'Reilly and Demi Issac. The new weekend shows will kick off on Saturday, 15 March.
Demi Isaac will be on the Brendan O’Connor Show on RTÉ Radio 1 this Saturday to share more of what's in store ahead of her move to 2FM.
Commenting on the changes to scheduling, Head of RTÉ 2FM, Dan Healy said: "I'm really excited to launch our daytime schedule with new and familiar voices on 2FM as we welcome back Doireann to present our new Drivetime show and look forward to Carl, Roz, and Aisling as our new breakfast hosts.
"Designed for today’s audience, the new schedule will have an emphasis on Irish and new music, inclusivity and original entertainment. Whether you’re starting the day or on your daily commute, 2FM will have something fresh and exciting waiting for you."
