‘Madness’ as Donegal's Mark O’Donnell set to play Electric Picnic

Glenties-native Mark O’Donnell “manifested” playing Electric Picnic, until it came true.

Mark will play on the brand new Piano stage at the Croí area of the festival on Saturday, starting at 2:40pm. “I manifested last year that I’d get to play at EP one day,” he shared. “Madness.”

The singer will be joined on stage by Paddy Molloy and Kevin Laughlin, who are also from Glenties. Then, Kneecap will take to the stage following their performances at 3:30pm.

Electric Picnic (EP) is an annual music and arts festival situated at Stradbally Hall, County Laois. The festival begins on Friday and will run until Sunday, August 29.

There are loads of acts lined up to perform across the weekend. On Friday, Hozier and Chappell Roan will headline, Saturday, Sam Fender and Fat Boy Slim will take centre stage and then the festival will close with Kings of Leon and Becky Hill on Sunday night.
