A Donegal woman’s artistic piece, which celebrates the pilgrimage of St Columba, has been accepted for the Voyage exhibition at the Irish Cultural Centre in London.
Margaret Cunningham, the manager of the Folk Village in Glencolmcille, is also a weaving instructor and artist.
The Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith has announced a new opportunity for emerging artists of Irish heritage to be part of its upcoming exhibition series, offering artists a chance to showcase their work to the public.

Artists are invited to respond to the theme “Aistear – Journey,” which reflects ideas of movement, exploration and identity. This initiative provides a platform for fresh voices in the arts to engage with themes that resonate across the Irish diaspora, while also highlighting the depth of talent among Irish artists.
