South Donegal quartet Onóir have thanked all who have helped them on their journey following an appearance at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
Tom McHugh from Inver, Frosses native Declan Gaughan, Mountcharles' Deane Connaghan and Diarmaid McGee from Ballintra form the band, who have enjoyed a meteoric rise.
“Three years ago, four Donegal fellas decided they would like to do a small concert in the Balor Arts Centre ‘for the craic’ after making some music videos during lockdown to pass the time when the music scene had been shut down due to covid,” they posted.

“We had zero intentions of ever becoming a group, it was purely for fun and we hoped a few people would turn up to the show!!
“On Sunday night, we played to over 1,000 people in one of the most prestigious music venues in Ireland, The National Concert Hall. We can't express our gratitude to you all for supporting us for the last three years, we don't take any of it for granted. This has been a dream come true and hopefully, we can keep living this dream for as many years as you all want to listen to us! Thank you all so much.”
