Emma Johnston (22) of Copany and her boyfriend Shane O’Callaghan (23) will spend a week climbing Africa’s highest peak, Kilimanjaro, in August to raise funds for this worthy cause.

They’ve lined up a great programme for Thursday’s fundraising concert: Michael Cleary and Breedge Kelly, with special guests Farrah Bogle of Glór Tire fame, Dylan Johnston, Paul Kelly and Johnny Garvan.

Heads Up, a subsidiary of Rehab, raises awareness of suicide amongst young people, with a range of initiatives aimed at 15-24 year olds including a free 24 hour helpline, training courses, life skills talks in schools and more.

Tickets €10 available in advance from the hotel and at the door. Doors open 8.30pm.
