Harry McIlwaine secured an individual bronze and team silver at the 2025 SIAB Track and Field International at the weekend.

The Letterkenny AC athlete was third in the 100m at the Moorways Stadium in Derby and also aided the Irish 4x100m team to silver.

McIlwaine, a student at the Royal and Prior in Raphoe, finished in 10.89 seconds.

England’s Ihem Divine won gold in a SIAB meet record of 10.47, taking out David Bolarinwa’s 10.51 record from 2010.

Another English athlete, Owen Keelyside, earned silver in 10.59.

McIlwaine, a scholar from Kathryn McDevitt’s sprint class, has had a breakout 2025 and ended his season with an excellent podium spot in Derby.
