Donegal boxer Roisin Hegarty is off to Montenegro with the Ireland team for the European U15 Championships.
The Twin Towns Boxing Club ace, a four-time Irish champion, is part of a 19-strong team heading to Budva.
Earlier this year, Hegarty won the Irish U15 64kgs title at the National Stadium.
Hegarty, a student at Loreto Secondary School, defeated Jessica Flanagan from Belfast in the final.
Hegarty, who previously punched for Illies Golden Gloves, joined Twin Towns BC at the end of last year, having represented Ireland at the European School Championships in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Hegarty won the Girl 1 51kgs title in 2023 and last year addedthe Girl 2 57kgs and Junior Cadet 60kgs crowns.
She lives in Letterkenny and is the daughter of Raymond Hegarty and Norma Tembo.

This European U15 Championships is the inaugural championships held by World Boxing’s European confederation, European Boxing.
The draw will take place on Friday afternoon with the opening ceremony on Saturday, and boxing will be held from October 18-25.
