Three young amateur boxers from Donegal will feature on Saturday evening’s Fight Night at the Valley card.

Twin Towns Boxing Club’s Caoimhin Connolly, Taylor Parke of Raphoe BC and St Bridget’s, Clonmany puncher Conan Kearney will all be on the undercard at the Finn Valley Centre.

Connolly and Parke will clash in one of the bouts while Kearney will take on Ruben Fitzgerald from Corinthians BC in Dublin.

“Amateur exhibitions are vital to my vision moving forward,” promoter Jason Quigley said.

“I never had the opportunity to watch professional boxing here. Every time you were in professional boxing you had to go to Dublin, Belfast or even further afield and you don't want to cost money, flights, hotels, everything.

“I want to show these young lads now and let them feel it, like the young lads that are fighting as the amateur bouts, they're good local young up-and-coming fighters that could potentially become professionals and headline shows down the line as well.

“It is fantastic, it's great and you know it's something that's just going to build and grow.”

Three-time Irish champ Parke will take on Connolly, who was the Irish Youth 48kgs champ last year, while Kearney was the Irish Boy 2 56kgs champion in 2021.

Connolly previously fought an amateur exhibition on the Rumble In The Hills, Rising Stars professional card at the Aura Leisure Centre in October.
