Darragh Kelly will be in Belfast action in April
‘Moville Mauler’ Darragh Kelly will return to action in Belfast in April, Donegal Live can confirm.
The unbeaten Kelly, who is ranked no.8 in the PFL lightweight rankings is 9-0 as a professional and will square up to Sergio Cossio.
The experienced Mexican Cossio is 27-11-1 and will be Kelly’s opponent at PFL Belfast, which takes place at the SSE Arena on Thursday, April 16.
In the main event, No. 4 ranked Paul “Big News” Hughes (14-3) competes in front of his home crowd once again, this time opposite the dangerous New Zealander and No. 6 ranked Jay Jay “The Māori Kid” Wilson (11-2) in a lightweight contest.
In September, Kelly bagged a first round stoppage of Bakhtiyor Abduloev in the Zenith Nantes Metropole arena in France.

Kelly needed only two minutes and 27 seconds to take out Abduloev having stopped Mike Hamel in the third round in Kansas back in June of last year.
He said after the win over Abduloev: “I was firing on all cylinders in France and it’s all a learning curve. With PFL, I could fight again in a couple of months now or it could be a waiting game; we’ll see.”
Kelly was backed by scores from across Inishowen who travelled to France for the fight and they will now get to see their man in a close-to-home fight.
After winning in France, Kelly said: “The support from home is massive. I missed that when I fought in America.”
Pre-sale tickets are available from Tuesday February 24 at 12pm GMT, with tickets on general sale from Wednesday February 25 at 12pm GMT via pfl.info/belfast
PFL Belfast will be available in the U.S. on ESPN2, the ESPN App and ESPN Deportes.
