The Muff Liquor Company, founded in Inishowen in 2017, has signed a significant distribution agreement with the Lucas Bols beverage cmopany ompany.

The new deal will allow the Lucas Bols company exclusive rights to distribute Muff Liquor Company products throughout the United States.
The Lucas Bols Company is a leading global cocktail and spirits player in the worldwide cocktail market and was established in 1575.
MLM Distillery Investments, which now has a 30 per cent share in the Muff Liquor Company, includes ‘Gladiator’ star Crowe, Ed Sheeran, Jimmy Carr and Ronan Keating.
Crowe was introduced to the Irish Potato Craft Gin while he was in Ireland filming ‘The Pope’s Exorcist’ in Dublin and Wicklow last August.
Muff native Laura Bonner, the Muff Liquor Company co-founder with her Manchester-based business partner Tom Russell, has told how the inspiration for the company was her grandfather, Philip McClenaghan, a Greencastle potato farmer and underground poitín maker.
The company has plans for a new visitors centre in Muff.
The Lucas Bols company is active in over 110 countries worldwide with a portfolio of more than 20 premium and super-premium brands.
