The newly-rebranded Ballybofey and Stranorlar Business Chamber has announced new plans, including a first ever business awards.
The Ballybofey and Stranorlar Business Chamber has been rebranded from the former Ballybofey and Stranorlar Chamber of Commerce in the Twin Towns.
The group says that the change, which comes with a new logo and a new ethos is 'to become more business orientated whilst still being involved with all the town events such as Christmas lights, St, Patricks Day and Halloween etc'.
There are plans to hire a full-time chamber manager and they say that regular 'informative breakfast briefings' will now become the norm to help and guide businesses to become more efficient, compliant and grow.
“Topics such as HR, marketing, funding opportunities and health and wellbeing are on the list,” they said.
“The 'breakfast briefings' are also proving invaluable as a networking opportunity and to help the local businesses become stronger together.”
Their big highlight this year will be the first ever Business Awards, which will be held in the Villa Rose on October 5 at 7pm with formal dress and a drinks reception to start, following with a 4-course banquet, dancing to Cufflinks and finishing the night out with DJ Marty.
