Dom’s Pier One closed after Christmas, having been operated on a reduced opening basis for some time. Initially advertised as being for lease, various names were associated with having an interest in the business. Donegal Live understands that the official handover took place on Monday.

The venue had built up a strong reputation as a great place to eat, and has been a popular venue for celebrations such as birthday pirates, club events etc.

It consists of a basement nightclub, a two-storey bar, a full restaurant kitchen, and extensive office space over three floors. The building offers stunning views over the Eske estuary and Donegal Bay.
