Dock 84 owned by O'Hehir's has announced it has closed
It is certainly the end of an era in Donegal Town with the closure of Dock 84 owned by O'Hehirs, a bakery and café which operated for many years as the Oven Door under previous ownership.
The owners took to social media to confirm the closure, saying: "We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers in Donegal Town for your loyalty and support.
"Dock84 / O’Hehirs Bakery Donegal Town is now closed, but this isn’t goodbye. You can still order your favourite occasion cakes for collection from our Ballybofey and Letterkenny shops.

"We’re so grateful for the memories and look forward to welcoming you soon in our other locations.
O'Hehir's made the move to the Main Street car park premises in July 2024, trading as Dock 84 and offering the same range of bakery goods, and with a new brunch and lunch menu in the café section.
Before that, it had operated on the Diamond in the long-established café and bakery known under previous ownership as the Oven Door, and which is now the home of Eske Pharmacy.
