Foy & Company celebrates 30 years in business in Letterkenny

Foy & Company, one of the North West’s most recognised names in paint and furniture, is proudly celebrating two major milestones in 2026, 45 years in business and 30 years serving the Letterkenny community.

The company’s story began in Ballybofey in 1986, when the late Liam Foy, alongside his wife Ann Foy, first opened the doors of their original store. Built on hard work, trust, and a commitment to quality, the business quickly became a valued part of the local community.

A decade later, in April 1996, Liam and Ann expanded their vision by opening their second Paint & Furniture Showroom on Port Road, Letterkenny. This marked a significant step in the company’s growth and laid the foundation for what would become one of the largest paint stockists in the North West of Ireland.

Today, Foy & Company continues to grow, with locations now in Ballybofey, Letterkenny, and Enniskillen, serving customers across the region with a reputation for quality products, expert advice, and exceptional customer service.

A key part of the Letterkenny store’s success has been the leadership of Mary T. Nelis, who has served as Manager since the day it opened 30 years ago. Her dedication, experience, and commitment to customer care have played a central role in shaping the store’s continued success.

Reflecting on this milestone year, David Foy paid tribute to its founders and the community that supported its journey:
