Donegal Donkey Sanctuary in Raphoe have launched their Christmas treats appeal.

The Christmas appeal is raising funds to provide extra feed and treats for the donkeys in their care, including Baby Rose, who fronts the campaign.

Donations can be made to Baby Rose’s Christmas Treat Appeal on GoFundMe. Funds raised will go towards additional meals and seasonal treats, ensuring new arrivals can enjoy a secure and comfortable festive period.

“Who can resist these beautiful eyes searching for extra special treats for herself and her donkey friends for Christmas!,” shared Sandra Curran, one of the founders of Donegal Donkey Sanctuary. “Baby Rose is hoping for lots of extra meal, carrots, apples and ginger nut biscuits so that all the donkeys can enjoy a wonderful Christmas this year. This is especially important to any new arrivals who have come into our care over the last twelve months and who may never have known full tummies and the contentment of plenty. Can you help Rose make this holiday season a very special time for all of our precious residents?

“Thank you so much from all at DDS. Wishing all our supporters a very Merry Christmas from Baby Rose and friends.”
