BREAKING: Stricter Covid-19 measures nationwide with Donegal moving to Level 4 along with Cavan and Monaghan

Donegal is to move to Level 4 Covid-19 restrictions along with Cavan and Monaghan.

Elsewhere in the country, a stricter version of Level 3 is in place which includes no visits whatsoever to homes and gardens.

In the counties which are being moved to Level 4, there will be no visits to homes, non-essential retail will close and everyone who can work from home should do so.

The new restrictions take effect from midnight on Thursday.
