Garda appeal after derelict house ransacked in Donegal Town

Gardai at Ballyshannon Garda Station are investigating

A derelict house in Donegal Town was ransacked recently, prompting an appeal by An Garda Siochana.

The burglary occurred at Ardeevin, Donegal Town sometime between September 14 and October 4.

A derelict house was entered after a couple of windows were smashed and the interior was ransacked. Nothing was stolen from the property. 

A Garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in that area between those dates to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
