Gardai are investigating the incidents

Donegal Gardai are investigating the theft of two digger track pads and 10 tractor weights in separate incidents in north Donegal.

Gardaí have launched a probe following a theft incident that occurred at Ellistrin, Kilmacrennan between 3pm on Monday, October 14 and 6.30pm on Sunday, October 20.

A yard was entered and two sets of digger track pads were stolen from within. One set was 78 x 40cm and the other was 88 x 70cm.

“Transport such as a van or trailer would likely have been required to remove these items from the yard,” a Garda spokesperson said.

“We appeal to residents in that area to make contact with us if they observed any suspicious vehicles or activity in that area between those dates.

“Should anybody come across similar items for sale on a second hand basis, we ask them to alert Gardaí. Milford Gardaí may be contacted on 074-9153060 with any information.”
