A man ended up in hospital having been attacked by a gang of youths in Letterkenny last week.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an assault that occurred in the area of Market Square on Friday, November 15, shortly after 7pm.

“A man was approached by a group of youths who proceeded to assault him,” a garda spokesperson said. The injured man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries. We appeal to anybody who may have observed the incident to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
"CCTV from the area is being examined but we are still always anxious to receive any available dash-cam footage so if anybody was in the area who can supply us with footage we ask them to please do so.
