An Garda Siochana are on the lookout for two hooded youths in Letterkenny who are believed to have stolen a car key.
The incident took place at the Cheshire Apartments at Long Lane at approximately 7.40pm on Sunday, December 1.
The car was parked outside the property with the key inside and two male youths opened the door of the car, removed the key and locked the car before leaving the area with the key. They left on foot and travelled up Long Lane.

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed these two youths on foot in the area to make contact with us,” gardaí said. “One was wearing a black hoodie and grey bottoms. He had his hood up. The other youth wore grey bottoms also and a blue/black coat. He also had his hood up.
"If anybody travelled in the area of Long Lane between 7pm and 8pm on that date with a dash-cam, we ask them to make contact with us. Letterkenny Gardaí may be reached on 074-9167100. The Garda Confidential line may be contacted on 1800 666 111.”
