Garda probe after man hospitalised in St Johnston assault

Gardai have launched an investigation following the incident in the early hours of Monday with a man in his 20s taken to hospital by ambulance

A man was hospitalised following an assault in St Johnston.

Gardai have launched an investigation following the incident in the early hours of Monday.

Officers responded to a report of an assault in the Railway Park area of the border village at around 1.25am on January 13.

The injured party, a man in his 20s, was brought by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital.

“Enquiries are ongoing,” a Garda spokesperson told Donegal Live.
