Valuable jewellery and laptop taken in Killybegs burglary

Thieves made off with valuable jewellery and a laptop from a house in Killybegs in the last week.

The front door of a house in the area of Crucknagapple, Killybegs, was kicked in and entry gained to the property.

The incident occurred sometimes between the morning of Tuesday, March 4 and the morning of Sunday, March 9. 

 A number of items were stolen including two silver rings, an antique yellow gold ring with a single diamond and a Dell pro support laptop.

A Garda probe is underway and a spokesperson said: “Gardaí are anxious to speak with anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity, people or vehicles in the area between those dates.
