Valuable jewellery and laptop taken in Killybegs burglary

The incident occurred sometimes between the morning of Tuesday, March 4 and the morning of Sunday, March 9 and Gardai have launched an investigation

Gardai are investigating the burglary in Killybegs

Thieves made off with valuable jewellery and a laptop from a house in Killybegs in the last week.

The front door of a house in the area of Crucknagapple, Killybegs, was kicked in and entry gained to the property.

The incident occurred sometimes between the morning of Tuesday, March 4 and the morning of Sunday, March 9. 

 A number of items were stolen including two silver rings, an antique yellow gold ring with a single diamond and a Dell pro support laptop.

A Garda probe is underway and a spokesperson said: “Gardaí are anxious to speak with anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity, people or vehicles in the area between those dates. If anybody can assist with relevant information, they are asked to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071-9858530. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
