A group of students from Magh Ene College in Bundoran visited Letterkenny District Court this week.

The students from transition year had a guided tour of the courthouse building and were also able to sit in on some cases.

Experienced solicitor Kieran O’Gorman, a native of Bundoran, formally welcomed the group to the courthouse.

“I am delighted to welcome the students from my home town to see how justice is done and how it is dished out,” Mr O’Gorman said.

“Court is not a daunting place and if any intend to go into law, maybe this can give them a little help of what law is all about.

Judge Éiteáin Cunningham addressed the student group and welcomed them to her courtroom to observe proceedings.
