The vehicle involved was travelling from Lunniagh towards Derrybeg when it left the road and entered a field
Two people were hospitalised as their car ended up off the road in Gaoth Dobhair.
The single-vehicle road traffic collision involving one vehicle occurred on the R257 at Stramartin, Derrybeg on Thursday, June 12, at approximately 11.18am.
The vehicle involved was travelling from Lunniagh towards Derrybeg when it left the road and entered a field. The driver and passenger were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening in nature.
“We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have been in that area with a dash-cam around that time. Gardaí may be contacted in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530 in relation to the incident,” Garda Gráinne Doherty said.”
