Eleven trainee Gardai have arrived in Donegal for a three month training schedule.
The trainees will be based at stations in Letterkenny, Donegal Town, Buncrana and Ballyshannon since arriving in June.
The group were welcomed to Letterkenny District Court by Judge Éiteáin Cunningham this week.
They will return to the Garda College to complete a further 11 weeks of training and hopefully become full members of An Garda Síochána.
They will then be given their permanent stations.
The group includes Lee Scanlon, Jade Doherty, Kevin McDaid, Declan Carr, Shane McGeehan, Aiden Robertson, Stephen Ferry, Lucy-May Timoney, Liam Donnelly, Oisin Bryson, and Charlene Wilson.
The trainees were accompanied to court by Garda Donna Campbell of Letterkenny Garda Station.
