A Bridgend man appeared in court this morning in the Midlands accused of two drugs-related offences and an alleged dangerous driving offence.

Ivan Peoples of Carrowreagh, Bridgend, was before Judge Michael Connellan at Longford District Court charged with having a quantity of cannabis and having the drugs for sale or supply at Carrowreagh on September 19, 2024.

The defendant is also accused of dangerous driving at Bonnemaine, Bridgend, on July 27, 2025. Judge Connellan heard that the Garda investigation is continuing in relation to the latest alleged offence. Mr Peoples was remanded on bail and the case was adjourned until November 13 at Buncrana District Court.
