Car set alight after being crashed into a tree in Clonmany 

Gardaí received a report of four males who were observed smashing the window of a car before they crashed it into a tree and set it alight

A car has been crashed into a tree and set on fire in an early morning incident in Clonmany.

The incident occurred in the Gaddyduff area of Clonmany in the early hours of Friday, August 8 at around 3.10am. 

Gardaí received a report in relation to four males who were observed smashing the window of a car. The car was then crashed into a tree and set alight.

When gardaí and the fire services arrived, the car was on fire and nobody was at the scene. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area with a dash-cam around that time to make the footage available to them.
