Two men arrested by Donegal gardaí in organised crime probe released without charge

The men aged in their 50s and 40s were arrested on Friday morning in Co Louth and Co Roscommon by gardaí investigating human trafficking and money laundering

Two men arrested by Donegal gardaí as part of ongoing investigations into organised crime have been released without charge.

The men aged in their 50s and 40s were arrested on Friday morning in Co Louth and Co Roscommon by gardaí investigating human trafficking and money laundering.

The men were detained at Garda stations in the Garda North Western Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Gardaí said on Monday that the men have been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions, adding that investigations are ongoing.
