Derelict cottage burgled with piping stolen from within in west Donegal village

A derelict cottage in west Donegal was burgled and copper piping was stolen from within. 

The burglary occurred in the area of Glenleighan, Fintown, between Thursday, September 18 and Thursday, September 25. 

The front door of the cottage was forced open and a quantity of copper piping was stolen from within.

“We appeal to anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in that area over the course of that week to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530,” a garda spokesperson said.
