Gardaí are investigating a criminal damage incident at a Buncrana business premises.
A male allegedly approached the premises and struck one of the CCTV cameras with his hand, causing it to break. The incident occurred on St Mary’s Road around 3:20am on Sunday.

“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in that area with a dash-cam to make the footage available to us,” a garda spokesperson said. “If anyone observed a lone male in the area around that time, we also ask them to make contact with us. Gardaí in Buncrana may be contacted on 074-9320540. Again, the Garda Confidential line may be contacted on 1800 666 111.”
