Gardai in Donegal had to deploy a stinger device to halt a motorist who failed to stop at a checkpoint.
Gardai from Buncrana Garda Station were operating a checkpoint in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A car approached the checkpoint and failed to stop for the officers on duty.
However, gardai successfully deployed a stinger to stop the vehicle.
The car was subsequently seized.

“Investigations are ongoing,” a Garda spokesperson said.
