Gardaí are investigating the burglary
Two properties in Glenties were burgled recently, with a number of items stolen.
The burglaries occurred in the area of Meenaleenaghan, Glenties. Both incidents are believed to have taken place between 4:30pm on Friday, October 24 and 3pm on Saturday, October 25.
One of the properties, which was vacant, was entered after the back door was forced open. The copper pipes were cut throughout the house and they were stolen along with the copper cylinder and five radiators.
The other property, which was also vacant, was entered through an unlocked front door. Again, the copper pipes were cut throughout the house and they were stolen along with the copper cylinder.
“We appeal to anyone who may be able to assist with relevant information to get in touch with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530,” said a garda spokesperson. “We wish to hear from anyone who may have observed any type of suspicious activity or vehicles in that area between those dates.”
