Gardaí have seized a car following a hit-and-run incident in Falcarragh.
The incident of dangerous driving occurred on Main Street, Falcarragh, on Thursday, October 23, around 11:35pm.
A van was travelling along the N56 when it was struck by a car which had exited a side road. The driver of the second vehicle did not remain at the scene but instead travelled onwards onto the R256.
Gardaí located the car in question, which was a Toyota Corolla, parked a short time later in the Dunmore area, and it was seized. No injuries were reported. Investigations are ongoing.

“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in the Falcarragh area, particularly at Main Street (N56) or on the R256 with a dash-cam between 11pm and Midnight on October 23, to make the footage available to Gardaí,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “Any relevant information may be passed on via the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111 or by contacting Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071-9858530.”
