A man was confronted after gaining unauthorised entry to an apartment building in Inishowen.
The incident occurred last Thursday at approximately 1 pm at an apartment in the Diamond, Carndonagh.
The man entered after causing damage to the front door, and an occupant then confronted the man in the hallway. The man left immediately and nothing was stolen.

“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in the area of the Diamond between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on that date with a dash-cam, to make the footage available to us,” a garda spokesperson said. “Any relevant information may be passed on to Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.”
