A man sustained injuries after he was allegedly assaulted and was subsequently hospitalised to receive medical treatment
A man was hospitalised following an assault in Donegal.
The incident occurred between 2am and 3am at Upper Main Street, Buncrana.
A man sustained injuries after he was allegedly assaulted and was subsequently hospitalised to receive medical treatment. The injuries sustained are not believed to be life-threatening in nature.

“From enquiries carried out to date, it is believed that a number of people may have witnessed this incident,” a garda spokesperson said. “We ask those people to get in touch with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. If anyone was in the area between those times with a dash-cam (eg, Taxi drivers), we ask them to please make the footage available to us.”
