Fire services had to extinguish a fire at a house in Donegal at the weekend, after a mattress had been set alight.
Gardaí in Milford were on route to a call on Saturday, March at approximately 3.15pm, when they noticed smoke coming from a derelict house located on the Church Road in the town.
They then discovered that a mattress had been set alight upstairs in the house. The fire services attended the scene and extinguished the fire.

A Garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have been in that area with a dash-cam between 2pm and 3.15pm to make the footage available to us. If anyone can assist with relevant information they are asked to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
