Two quads stolen during Donegal burglary with one yet to be recovered

Two quads were stolen during a burglary and one has still not been recovered. 

The incident occurred at a business premises around Ballywogs, Bruckless at 2:35am on Tuesday, March 31. The red Honda 500 (2018) and a 2026 red Honda 520 automatic (with bear claw tyres) were stolen from the property. 

The Honda 500 was recovered following a search of the local area in the townland of Corkerbeg, Bruckless. It had been concealed in hedges/bushes. The Honda 520 has not yet been recovered.

“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in the area of Ballywogs or Corkerbeg between 2am and 4am on the 31st of March with a dash-cam to get in touch with Gardaí,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “If anyone observed any type of suspicious activity or vehicles with trailers in the area between those times, please contact us. If anyone is offered a similar type of quad for sale (red 2026 Honda 520), we ask them to alert Gardaí immediately.
