Homeowner apprehends burglar after theft of bank cards from Donegal Town house

A Donegal Town homeowner has apprehended a man who broke into his house during the night and stole bank cards.

The incident took place at Orchard Park, Donegal Town where a man entered a house and took a number of bank cards from a purse.

The homeowner apprehended the man in question close by following the burglary. 

The man was then searched by gardaí, who had received a report of a burglary in progress, and the stolen bank cards were retrieved. 

He was arrested and charged to appear in court.
