A Letterkenny man has pleaded guilty to a charge of laundering almost €9,000.
Abraham Abiola Philips, 23, admitted the laundering of €8,980 on June 26, 2019.
Philips, with an address at 3 Snooker Club Apartments, Letterkenny pleaded guilty to the offence at Letterkenny Circuit Court.
Counsel for Philips said the defendant is due to complete a master's degree and has not been in trouble with gardaí before or since.
Judge John John Aylmer agreed to the preparation of a pre-sentencing report from the Probation Service and adjourned the case until October.
