Hugh McGeady,  Letterkenny

The sudden death has taken place at his home of Hugh McGeady, Loughnagin Heights, Letterkenny, F92 PW21.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Carmel, sons Rogan and his partner Eli and Ryan and his wife Anne, sister Bernadette and husband Cathal and their sons Lorcan and Cian (Gweedore), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and extended family, friends and neighbours Letterkenny, Gweedore and Glasgow.

Hugh is predeceased by his parents Teresa ‘Tim’ and Jimmy (Ard na gCeapairi, Derrybeg).

Hugh’s remains will repose at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny F92 XE35 this evneing, Monday 4th November from 5pm until 7pm followed by removal to his late residence.

House private to family and close friends only please.

Funeral from there on Wednesday morning, 6th November at 10.30am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine for 11am Requiem Mass, which can be viewed live here, followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Trevor Logue, Letterkenny

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Trevor Logue, Crieve, Letterkenny.

Deeply missed by his loving mother Frances, sister Jean and husband Gordon Peoples (Wood Road,Cullion), brother Alistair and wife Karen (Crieve, Letterkenny), nephews David, Evan and Adam, niece Laura and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Trevor is predeceased by his father William (2008).

Trevor’s remains are reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Tuesday 5th November at 12.15pm going to Conwal Parish Church, Letterkenny for 1pm Service of Thanksgiving with interment afterwards in Gortlee Cemetery. Family time on the morning of the funeral please. Family flowers only please.

Kathleen Gallagher, Glenties and Mayo

The peaceful death has occurred of Kathleen Gallagher (née Peyton), Tullynaglaggin and Main Street, Glenties, Co. Donegal and formerly Attymass, Co Mayo at Letterkenny Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Peter in 2016.

Much loved mother of Maureen (John), Geraldine (Tom), Peter(Margaret), Josephine (Owen) Elaine (Danny), FIdelma (Jimmy).

A devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Josephine, Declan,Tommy, Kevin, Fidelma, Pete, Michelle, John, Stephen, Sinead,Aoife, Fionnuala, Eoghan and Sarah and great grandchildren Róisín, Kyle, Jack, Nathan, Sarah-Jane, Cullen, Peter, Faye, Torbjørn and Elenor.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by sisters Bridget Hollandand Geraldine Campeau, Canada, her nieces, nephews and wider family circle and dear friends.

Kathleen’s remains will repose at her late residence on Monday, November 4 from 11am until 10pm and on Tuesday from 11am until 10pm. Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Grace McHugh, Falcarragh

The death has occurred in Glasgow of Grace McHugh, formerly Derryreel, Falcarragh.

Predeceased by her parents Anna May and Frank and sister Mary Campbell, she is sadly missed by her partner Roger Jamieson, nephew Colin Campbell and the Boyle Family Falcarragh.

Her remains will repose at 14 Cnoc na Gaoithe, Dunfanaghy F92 RNDY on Tuesday from 7.30pm until 11pm. House private after 11pm and on the morning of the funeral.

Martin Cassidy, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Buncrana Community Hospital of Martin Cassidy, Trillick, Buncrana.

Son of the late Edward and Sarah Cassidy; brother of Tony, John, Eileen (Shaw) , Seamus, Susie (McCoy), Sheila (Grimes), Denis, Noel and the late Eamonn. Sadly missed by his sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law nieces, nephews, family circle and friends.

His remains are reposing at his sister Susie's residence Trillick. House private at the request of the deceased.

Removal from there on Sunday at 5.30pm going to St Mary’s Oratory to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass there at 10am on Monday with burial afterwards in Cockhill cemetery.

Aidan Doherty, Ballybofey

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, of Aidan Doherty, Edenmore, Ballybofey, F93 EF8X.

Aidan was a retired teacher at Stranorlar Vocational school. Beloved husband of Noreen and much loved brother of John and the late Kathleen (Kelly),Bridget, (Matthews), Nuala (Grant), Agatha (Stewart), Liam, Paddy, and Michael. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his wife, brother, brothers-in-law Des, Harry, sisters-in-law Lisa,Teish, nephews, nieces, extended family neighbours and very many friends.

Reposal of his remains continues at his late residence on Sunday from 12 noon until 9pm.

Removal from his late residence on Monday at 11.20am for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s church, Sessiaghoneill, at 12 noon. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish YouTube channel

The death has taken place peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, of Attracta Whoriskey, née Coyle, 31 Balmoral Avenue, Derry and formerly of Gweedore.

Beloved wife of Liam loving mother of Joseph, Elaine, Shaun and Sinead, mother-in-law of Jacqueline, Patrick, Sam and Ryan, devoted grandmother of Donnacha, Emmet, Maeve, Hannah, Oscar and Evelyn and dear sister of Joanne and the late Angela and Billy. Deeply regretted by all her extended family and friends.

Her remains are reposing in her home.

Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am.

Nora Breslin, Ballindrait

The death has occurred of Nora Breslin, née Donnelly, Gortin North, Ballindrait, Lifford, F93 XR1E.

Lovingly missed by her sons John, Brian and daughter Anne, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all her extended family and friends. Nora was predeceased by her husband Connie.

Reposal of her remains continues at her late residence Gortin North, Ballindrait from 3pm on Sunday. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

The death has occurred peacefully at Inbhear Na Mara, Bundoran, of Patsy Keeney, Selacis, Letterbarrow.

His remains will be reposing at Inbhear Na Mara on Saturday from 6pm until 8pm and then reposing at his late residence in Selacis, Letterbarrow, on Sunday.

Funeral Mass on Monday in the Church of the Holy Redeemer Drimarone at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Pearl Watt, Raphoe, Galway and Derry

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University hospital of Margaret Jane (Pearl) Watt, Carnone, Raphoe F93 NN76.

Much loved wife of her late husband Mitchell. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Hilary (Raymond) and Jennifer (Paul). Beloved grandmother of Adam, Scott, Kane and Megan.

Family and friends are welcome to call to her home on Sunday from 2pm to 10pm. House private at all other times please.

Funeral leaving from the family home at 1.30pm on Monday, going to Carnone Presbyterian Church for 2pm for service of thanksgiving, followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.

Anna Griffin, Frosses and England

The death has taken place of Anna Griffin, Gillingham, England and formerly of Gargrim, Frosses.

She will be loved and missed by her sisters and brothers and extended family and friends.

Mary Begley, Fanad and Limerick

The death has taken place peacefully at The Good Counsel Nursing Home, Kilmallock Road, Limerick, of Mary Begley, Shannagh, Fanad and late of Limerick.

Predeceased by her husband James, brothers John, Eddie and Peter, her sisters Shiela and Teresa and her nephews Paul Flaherty, Sean Murphy and Paul Clinton; deeply regretted by her sisters Susanna Flaherty (UK) and Catherine Power (Limerick), brother-in-law Ned Power, her extended family, kind neighbours and many friends.

Mary's remains reposed overnight at St Mary's Church, Fanavolty, Fanad.

Requiem Mass will be held on Sunday at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Mass will be live streamed on the Mc Ateer Funeral Directors Facebook page.

Joe Harrold, Ballybofey

The death has taken place peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family, of Joseph (Joe) Harrold, Dooish, Ballybofey, F93 YY73.

Predeceased by his loving wife Bríd in 2019; much loved father of Catriona (Brian), Brenda (Joe), Roisin (Shane); dearly loved grandfather to Joey, Leigh, Patrick, Aoibhinn, Amy, Charlie, and Caoimhe, cherished brother of Pat and Ita Kelly.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, Jim and Patrick, sister-in-law Mary, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and special friends.

The death has taken place suddenly at his residence, of Phillip McGettigan, Casheleenan, Kilmacrennan.

Predeceased by his wife Susan (2004), parents Bridget and Johnny, brother John Joseph and sister Margaret, he is sadly missed by his daughter Mairéad, sisters Josephine (Jerry) and Kathleen (Johnny), brother Willie, nieces, nephews, great neighbours and good friends.

Phillip’s remains are reposing at the residence of his daughter Mairéad, 19 Beinn Aoibhinn, Letterkenny, F92 X984. House private please to family and close friends. Family time only please on the morning of the funeral.

The death has taken place at Donegal Hospice of Sinead Boyce, Kinnelargy, Downings.

Predeceased by her parents Peadar and Aine Noone and her infant daughter Aoibheann; sadly missed by her loving husband Denis, her sons Frank (Sarah) and Peadar (Maria), her daughters Cliodhna (Jason), Sorcha (David) and Etain (Brian), her grandchildren Elena, Bridin, Isobel, Abigail, Aodan, Grainne, Olivia, Ellie, Anna, Sophie, Aoibh and Fionn, her brothers Miceal and Peadar, her sisters Noirin, Anne and Mairead, her aunt Sr Phyllis, her nieces and nephews and her extended family and friends.

The death has occurred in Donegal Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, of Charlie McMenamin, Meenagoland, Cloghan.

Predeceased by his wife Maggie, brothers Paul, Seamin and Mickey; deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughter Josie, sons Robert, Peter and Cathal, brother Sean, daughters-in-law Maeve and Sarah, grandchildren Conor, Liam and Colm.

The death has occurred at Sligo University Hospital of Gerard (Gerry) Manion,Five Oaks, Knather, Ballyshannon and formerly of Sligo.

He is predeceased by his parents Paddy Joe and Lily and his baby sister Claire. Loving husband of Jackie and dear father of Keith, Bryan and Derek, he will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter-in-law Erica, grandchildren Charlie, Arran and Lily, brother Padraic, sisters Freda, Noleen, Martha, Hilary and Dervla, mother-in-law Ursula and her partner Padraig, aunt Anne (Liam) Dublin, cousin Padraig Kerins (Dublin), nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.
