The following deaths have taken place:

Anthony 'Con' Gallagher, Frosses and UK

The death has occurred peacefully in London of Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Edgware, UK and Meenagran, Frosses.

Anthony is predeceased by his wife Freddie and his siblings Connie, Kathleen, Marie and Patrick.

Sadly missed by his beloved sons Anthony (Catherine) and John and is also survived by his loving grandchildren Catriona, Conal, Ryan, Maeve and Eamonn, his siblings Theresa, Margaret and Agnes, many nieces and nephews and wide circle of friends in Ireland and the UK.

Mass in the UK at St Anthony’s Church, Edgware, London on Wednesday at 6pm

Anthony’s remains will arrive at The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses, Co. Donegal at 6pm on Friday, December for reception prayers and to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am, with interment immediately afterwards in the church graveyard. Anthony’s funeral mass can be viewed on https://mcn.live/Camera/st-marys-frosses-inver

Michael Sr McLoone, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Michael McLoone (Senior), Abbeylane, Ballyshannon, F94 F6D7. He passed away peacefully in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Ballyshannon Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Kathleen McLoone, and his brother Philip, Michael is survived by his loving wife Imelda, his sons, Michael, David, Philip and daughter Caroline, his daughters in-law Elaine, Aoife and Louise, son in-law Noel. Adored by his grandchildren Aaron, Kate, Daniel, Nicole, Emily and Conall, brothers Peter (and Liz), Paul (and Marie) and sister Catherine, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his residence Abbeylane, Ballyshannon, on Monday and Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm. The house shall be private to family outside of these times and on the morning of the funeral.  A one-way system will take place during the wake. Entrance by the Abbey lane with exit to the Rossnowlagh Road via the Abbey Mill wheel. 

Removal on Wednesday, December 3 from his residence at 10.15am to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by service of interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery. The funeral Mass shall be streamed live on St Patrick's Church webcam

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of so desired in memory of Michael to the Ballyshannon Community Hospital patients comfort fund c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon or any family member.

Mary Grant, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Beach Hill Manor Private Nursing Home, Lisfannon of Mary Grant, Maginn Avenue, Buncrana, County Donegal.

Predeceased by her loving brothers Joe and John and her loving sisters Margaret and Annie; she is deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her nieces, great nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from there on Monday morning at 9.15am to St Mary's Oratory, Buncrana for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by interment in St Mary's Graveyard, Cockhill. Requiem Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/buncrana

Kathleen Marie Thomas, Finabanes

The death has occurred of Kathleen Marie Thomas, née McKendrick, Finabanes, Donegal Town. She passed away peacefully in Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Sadly missed by her husband Liam, children Karen (Josh), Claire (Gary), Peter and Tracy (Hayden), and her 12 grandchildren Rachael, Katie, Chloe, Emma, Ryan, Ava, Leanne, Noah, Lomond, Ella, Coby and Cara, her siblings Thomas (Marlene), Ann, Margaret (David) and Pat and all her extended family, friends and neighbours.

House private at all times please.

Requiem mass will be in St Agatha’s Church, Clar on Monday at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only donations if so desired to Oars Rest c/o Richmond ICU, Beaumont Hospital.

Raymound Gaughan, Ballyshannon and Mayo

The death has occurred of Raymond Gaughan, Retired Sergeant 28th Infantry Battalion, Finner Camp, of East Port, Ballyshannon, and formerly of Byhalla, Attymass, County Mayo. He passed away surrounded by his loving family at Galway university Hospital following a short illness.

Predeceased by his infant babies Claire and Edward, his parents Anthony & Annie Gaughan, his brothers Jimmy and Sean, nephew Edwin. He is survived by his loving wife Fidelma, daughter Emma and son Jason, son-in-law Aidan Mc Gonigle and daughter-in-law Jenny; adored by his grandchildren Patrick, Sean and Anna, brothers and sisters Tony, Mickey, Mary, Anne, Margaret, Patricia and Bernie, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends.

Removal on Monday from his residence East Port to St Joseph's Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for 12 noon funeral Mass followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donation in lieu if so desired to Cr❤️í heart and stroke foundation care of John McGee & Sons Funeral director or any family member.
