The death has occurred of Andy Barrett, Castle St. Ballyshannon and formerly of Glencastle, Bunnahowen, Belmullet, County Mayo.

Predeceased by baby Declan, parents Larry and Bridget, brothers Michael, Larry, Tony, sisters Maureen, Julia, Mary Agnes, Tessie and Josie.

Deeply regretted by his daughters, Bríd, Teresina, Andrea and their mother Margaret, sons-in-law David Mitchel and Kevin Gallagher, grandchildren Séimí, Barry, Nessa, Lucia, Fionn and Orlaith. His brother Sean, brother-in-law P.J. Reilly, sisters-in -law Dolores and Carol, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Edward (Eddie) Mc Kinley Araheera, Fanad

The peaceful death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) Mc Kinley Araheera, Fanad at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by parents Patrick and Mary Anne, brother John and sister Mary.

Deeply regretted by his brother Gerry (Araheera) and sisters Kathleen Friel (Pollaid) and Dorothy (Uk).

Sadly missed by his nephews and nieces and extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Remains are reposing at his sister Kathleen’s home in Pollaid, Fanad.

Removal from there at 10.30am on Wednesday, December 7 arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Fanavolty for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

The funeral cortége will travel from Pollaid via Ballure, Ballymichael and Ballynabrockey on the morning of the funeral.

Nora Allsop, St Shanaghan House, Ardara

The death has occurred of Nora Allsop, St Shanaghan House, Ardara.

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Nora Allsop formerly of St Shanaghan House, Ardara and Costhorpe, Nottinghamshire. Sadly missed by her son Michael (Mick), daughter-in-law Noreen, grandchildren Samuel and Aoife and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Shovlin's Funeral Home, Sandfield on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass at Church of the Holy Family, Ardara on Wednesday morning at 11am followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium.

Myles Gallagher, Gortahork

The sudden and unexpected death has taken place of Myles Gallagher, Baltoney, Gortahork. Predeceased by his parents, his brother and sisters. Survived by his nieces and nephews and a large a circle of family and friends.

His remains will be reposing in Gortahork Funeral Premises F92 FT7C on Monday, December 5 from 4pm to 8pm with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, December 6 at 11am in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. No flowers please donations in lieu to Falcarragh Mental Health care of his nephew Seamus (Danny) McGee.

Agnes McGloin, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Agnes McGloin (née Breslin), 13 Ross View, Bundoran. Beloved wife of the late Hughie, adored mother of Gary and mother-in-law of Marcella. Deeply regretted by her loving son, daughter-in-law, sister Phyllis Breslin, sisters-in-law Carmel Breslin and Claire McGloin, brother-in-law Frankie McGloin, and all her many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her parents Charlie and Elizabeth Breslin and her brothers Leo and Aloysius.

Reposing at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F on Tuesday, December 6 from 5pm to 7pm. House private please. Removal from the funeral home on Wednesday, December 7 at 10.40am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Agnes to the Professor Crown Cancer Research, St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin care of donation box at the funeral home/church or by post to Donal Breslin at Breslin's Funeral Home, Bundoran.

Brigid McCarron, Raphoe

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Brigid McCarron, 1 Meadow Hill, Raphoe.

Brigid will be lovingly missed by her daughter Louise and son-in-law Tony, grandchildren Labhaoise, Joceyln and Anthony, brothers and sisters John, Seamus, Patricia, Orla and Dympna, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Brigid was predeceased by her parents Jimmy and Philomena.

Brigid's remains are reposing at her late residence. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday, December 5 at 11am in St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

John Joe McGinley, Dunfanaghy

The death has taken place of John Joe McGinley, Main Street, Dunfanaghy. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Removal from his home on Monday evening, December 5 to arrive at Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy at 7pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 6 at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

Dr John Murray, Ballyraine, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of John (Dr.) Murray, 'Glenbank', Middle Road, Ballyraine, Letterkenny, formerly Drogheda, Co. Louth.

He died peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Phil and daughters Grainne and Fiona and his siblings, devoted father of Roni, Barry, Johnny and Emmet. John will be sadly missed by his family and partners, grandchildren Claire, Karen, Emmet, Orla and Blanaid, great-grandchild Robin, extended family, carers, neighbours and many friends. 

Reposing at his late residence on Monday from 12 noon to 4.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny for Reception Prayers at 5pm. Reposing overnight for Requiem Mass at 1pm on Tuesday, December 6 which can be viewed online by using the link http://www.facebook.com/irishmartyrs followed by interment in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Mark Doherty, 68 Thorndale, Letterkenny

The sudden death has taken place in Portugal of Mark Doherty, 68 Thorndale, Letterkenny. Beloved husband of Ann and much-loved father of Ciaran.

Predeceased by his late father Willie and mother Harriet, Strabane.

Deeply regretted by his brothers, Terry, Kevin Liam, Paul and sister Mary, Strabane, and sister Aileen, London.

Sadly missed by the McAlaney family, Carrigart. Fondly remembered by his extended family, neighbours and golfing friends.

Mark's remains will repose at his family home in Thorndale on Sunday from 4pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 6 at 11am in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny following by burial in Umlagh Cemetery, Carrigart.

 

Mary Gallagher, Meath and Gaoth Dobhair

The death has occurred of Mary Gallagher (née Boyle) Ferndale, Navan, Meath and Gaoth Dobhair.

She passed way peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, infant daughter Maureen, parents, brothers and sisters.

Mary will be very sadly missed by her loving daughters Carmel, Anne Marie, Patricia and Rosaleen, grandchildren Gabriella, Antonia, Freddie, Paul, Hugh and Eve, sons-in-law Alan and Brian, Anne Marie’s partner Klaus, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 8pm. Removal on Monday at 7.15pm arriving to St Catherine’s Church, Oristown for 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Gibbstown Cemetery.   

Seamus (Jim) Carron, Rathmullan

The death has taken place in Fife, Scotland of Seamus (Jim) Carron formerly of Carradoan, Rathmullan.

Predeceased by his wife Carolyn. Deeply regretted by his son Daniel, brothers Liam, Hugh and extended family.

Neil Doherty (Roe), Glengollan House, Railway Road, Buncrana

The sudden death has taken place in Glasgow, Scotland of Neil Doherty (Roe), Glengollan House, Railway Road, Buncrana.

Son of the late John and Maureen Doherty (Roe), dear father of  Sophie and brother of Marie, Charlie, John Peter, Philip, Paul, Eddie and the late Tommy.

Funeral arrangements will be confirmed later.
