The death has occurred of Jim Meehan, Drumbeigh, Mountcharles. He passed away peacefully at Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town. Predeceased by his brothers Packie and Charlie and his sisters Teresa and Mary Ann. Removal from Gallagher's Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, on Thursday, December 29, at 5.30pm, going to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses arriving at 6pm. To repose overnight.
Funeral Mass on Friday, December 30, at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Michael Quinn, Corlea, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Michael Quinn, Corlea, Ballyshannon, F94 FP52. He passed away peacefully at his residence, December 28, 2022.

Loving husband of Geraldine, adored father of Steven (Carol), Michele, Aisling (Alan), Donna (Tom), Megan (Conor), loving grandad to Faith, Sonnie, Calvin, brothers Patsy, sisters Mary, Teresa, Anne, and extended family.

Reposing at the family home on Thursday, December 28, and Friday, from 2pm until 8pm, walk through only, house private at all other times.

Michael’s remains will leave the family home on Saturday at 10am, to St. Patrick’s Church Ballyshannon, for 11am Mass of the Resurrection, followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery Belleek.

Tanya Dunne (nee O’Shea), Stracomer View, Bundoran and formerly of Fermanagh

The death has occurred of Tanya Dunne (nee O’Shea), Stracomer View, Bundoran F94 C5T3 and formerly of Belleek, County Fermanagh, December 28, Sligo University Hospital.
Much loved wife of Rory, adored daughter of Bernie and the late Martin, cherished sister of Barry (Tanya), Jacinta (Ronan), Mark (Julie), Martin (Tracey), loving auntie to Mya, Eva, Alex, Ben, Oscor, Ollie, Pippa, Ayda, Gia, Ruby, Riley, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended Dunne and O’Shea families and all her dear friends.
Reposing at the family home with a walk-through wake on Thursday, December 29 from 12 noon until 9pm. House private at all other times.
Tanya's cortége will leave the family home on Friday at 10.30, travelling to Belleek GAA Grounds, on to Mulleek Road, Castlecaldwell, Tawnynoran, Lough Shore Road, to Saimer Child Care the Rock, and on to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church Bundoran for 12 noon Mass, followed by interment Saint Ninnidh's Cemetery.

Kathleen Friel (Katie), Dunaff, Clonmany and Derry

The death has occurred at Foyle Hospice, Derry of Kathleen Friel (Katie), Dunaff, Clonmany and Derry.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Paul Kerr, Letter, Urris, Clonmany
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Paul Kerr, Letter, Urris, Clonmany. His remains will be leaving the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny today, Thursday December 29 at 4pm going to St Michael’s Church, Urris to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Friday, December 30 at 10am followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at the request of the deceased.

Mary Catherine Breslin, Ardara

The peaceful death has taken place, at her home surrounded by her loving family, of Mary Catherine Breslin, Cronkeerin, Ardara.

Predeceased by her husband Packie, her son Paul and her brothers Packie and Danny. She is sadly missed by her loving children Gabriel (Croagh), Gearad, Laurence, Cathal, Donal, Rose Byrne (Ardara), Ann Slevin (Ballyshannon), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her sixteen adoring grandchildren, her sister Bridgie O'Gara (Glencolmcille), Rose Boyle (Bruckless), her brother Charlie, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, her nieces and nephews, wonderful neighbours and many, many friends.

Mary's remains will repose at the family home until 11am on Thursday, with Rosary at 9pm both nights. House is private thereafter with house strictly private on the morning of the Funeral.

Removal at 10.40am on Friday, going to The Church of the Holy Family, Ardara for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/church-of-the-holy-family-ardara

Philip Molloy, Dublin and Glenties

The death has occurred peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff of St Vincent’s Hospital, of Philip Molloy (Féidhlim Ó Lúdhóg) (ex Department of Finance), of Booterstown Dublin and formerly of Graffy, Glenties.

Beloved husband, adored father and proud ‘Dad-dad’ to his grandchildren, Philip will be forever loved and sadly missed by his devoted wife and best friend Breege, by his children Eamonn, Philip and Deirdre, son-in-law Tom and daughter-in-law Daniela, grandchildren Róisín, Darragh, Mark and Sophie, sister-in-law Mary Moran, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

His remains are reposing at home Thursday from 11am to 4pm with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown, for 6pm. Requiem Mass takes place on Friday at 10am followed by burial at 3pm in Tisrara Parish Cemetery, Four Roads, County Roscommon.

Ella Weir, Ballindrait

The peaceful death has taken place, following a short illness at Letterkenny University Hospital, of Ella Weir (née Tait), Tieveboy, Ballindrait, F93HY52.

Predeceased by her late husband Robert (Bob), much-loved mother of Gwendoline Baker and Lucinda Lawrence. Cherished grandmother of Kyrsten, Zoe, Sam and Sophie. Ella will be sadly missed by her brother Norman Tait, and son-in-law Ron, her wider family circle, neighbours and many friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. You are welcome to call to her home from 12 noon to 10pm on Thursday. Family time, please, on the morning of the funeral.

The Funeral will leave from her late residence on Friday at 1.30pm for 2pm Funeral Service in Ballindrait Presbyterian Church, followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to The Irish Heart Foundation, care of any family member or Terence McClintock funeral director, Convoy.

Sarah McDaid, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Buncrana Community Hospital of Sarah McDaid (née Murphy), Pillar Park, Buncrana. 

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, her sons Paddy and Johnny and son-in-law Noel. Loving mother of Harry, Shirley Quigley and Maura Mason.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her son, daughters, son-in-law Ian, daughters-in-law Martina and Rosaleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her extended family and friends. 

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Family time please from 10pm to 12 noon. 

Removal from her home on Friday at 10.15am to St Mary's Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick McFadden, Gaoth Dobhair

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Patrick (Patsy Ned) Mc Fadden, Lower Cnoc Fola, Gaoth Dobhair.

Predeceased by his parents, Madge and Edward, brother Neilly and sister Kitty.

Sadly missed by his sisters, Mary (America), Teresa and Peggy (Glasgow); brothers, Billy and John (London), nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  

Removal from Roarty's Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92DN4X) on Wednesday at 6pm to his late residence. Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary until 11am. 

Funeral Mass in Teach Pobail Cholmcille, Cnoc Fola, on Friday at 11am, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

David Reilly, Ballybofey  

The sudden death has occurred at St James' Hospital, Dublin of David Reilly, aged 49, of Glenfin Road, Ballybofey. 

Beloved son of Walter and Helen and much loved brother of Ivor and Georgie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken father, mother, brother, sister, partner Simone, uncles, aunts, nephew, nieces, extended family, and friends. 

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later. 

Hughie Feehily, Bundoran

The death has taken place of Hughie Feehily, Tranquilla Lodge, West End, Bundoran, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Mai and adored father to Gerard, Stella, Caroline and Geraldine.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, son, daughters, his beloved grandchildren Bryon and Ruby, his sons-in-law Maxwell, Daragh and Paul, daughter-in-law Aloysia, his brother Michael, sisters Josie, Della, Nuala, Philomena, Rose-Anne, Loretta, Toni and Margaret, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and all his many nieces (especially Marion Fitzgerald), nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Hughie and Annie Feehily, his sisters Mary and Annie and his brothers Sean and Desmond.  

Reposing at the family home on Wednesday until 6pm. House private at all other times, please.

Removal on Thursday at 9.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 10am. Burial afterwards in St Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Joe Curran, Gortahork

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Joe Curran, Derryconnor, Gortahork.

Predeaceased by his mother Kit, father Robert and brother Robert. Survived by his brothers Mickey, Paddy, William and Johnny, his sisters Annie, Mary, Rosie and Margaret, in-laws, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends. 

His remains are reposing at his brother Mickey and Anges Haughey's residence at 14 Garradh Cholmcille, Station Road, Falcarragh F92 A0X2 for wake.

Removal from there on Thursday for 11am Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary both nights at 8pm.
