Donegal dog walker attacked during late-night stroll
The incident happened shortly after 11pm on Lisowen Avenue in the Ardaravan area of Buncrana.
Gardaí are investigating after a dog walker suffered a head injury when he was allegedly assaulted by another man in Buncrana late on Friday night.
The incident occurred on Lisowen Avenue in the Ardaravan area of the town shortly after 11pm. It is understood the man was walking his dog when an altercation took place.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Gardaí received a report of an alleged assault that occurred in Ardaravan, Buncrana, on Friday, July 31, shortly after 11pm. Investigations are ongoing."
