Gusts of up to 100kp/h forecast as weather warning comes into affect across Donegal

Wind warning

A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Donegal by Met Éireann.

Met Éireann forecast southwest winds will veer northwest later today reaching mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h with gusts of up to 100km/h. Strong winds combined with high seas may lead to wave spilling into coastal areas so please be careful and exercise vigilance in coastal areas.

The warning is valid from 14:00 Sunday, January 30 to 03:00 on Monday, January 31.
