Donegal County Council warns of flooding on roads around Laghey

Donegal County Council has issued a warning of flooding on the roads around Laghey.

Drivers are advised to stay alert when driving on the Laghey-Bridgetown-Ballintra road. Take care as heavy rainfall has caused flooding and ponding on the roads.

This comes following the yellow rain warning issued, which is valid from 10am today until 10am tomorrow.

Met Éireann has warned of spells of heavy rain with a chance of isolated thunderstorms, leading to flooding, impaired visibility and overall difficult travelling conditions.
