Donegal Drama Circle are bringing their production of The Odd Couple to Leghowney Community Hall.

The play will run from October 9 to 11 nightly at 8pm as part of the Donegal Bay and Bluestack Festival. Tickets are €15, payable at the door.

The Odd Couple, also known as The New Odd Couple, is a 1985 play by Neil Simon that reimagines his original 1965 play by gender-swapping the main characters. In this version, directed by Christian Carbin, the messy, slovenly Oscar Madison is replaced by a similarly disorganised woman named Olive Madison, while the neurotic, obsessively clean Felix Unger becomes Florence Unger.

The play follows the chaotic dynamic as Florence, recently separated from her husband, moves in with Olive, leading to clashes between their extremely different personalities.
